Making Keepsakes for Kids is a heartwarming course that will share five creative ideas for making thoughtful keepsakes for the kids in your life.  The ideas come from special gifts my parents have made for me over the years (along with some of my own personal favourites).  Each day you’ll be inspired to capture stories and share them with those you love.

I learned to sew aprons as a personal fundraiser for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of my Gram.  With Live. Love. Bake! those who bought aprons were also invited to participate in an online recipe swap – sharing favourite family recipes.

#25daysofmittens was a fun project which helped donate $300 towards toys for children at Christmas!

Charlie gets lots of hand-me-downs from her brothers.  I wanted her to have a little something of her own.  I learned how to sew pom poms to add onto her toque.

With everyone in our house sick, I thought I’d try making the kids some microwaveable heating bags to bring into bed. Thatcher now requests his warm little raccoon every night before bed.

I sewed a few things for baby gifts.  I love these little pants made out of a pair of socks!  The suspenders were made into little toy clips.

I like to make stuff.  I try to sew without patterns and make homemade gifts.
