I learned to sew aprons as a personal fundraiser for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of my Gram. With Live. Love. Bake! those who bought aprons were also invited to participate in an online recipe swap – sharing favourite family recipes.

I took a writing class where I was asked:

I turned our baby car seat into keepsakes for the kids.
A DIY hack to keep mittens on our kids hands (adding socks to mittens). It totally worked!

Charlie gets lots of hand-me-downs from her brothers. I wanted her to have a little something of her own. I learned how to sew pom poms to add onto her toque.



I like to make stuff. I try to sew without patterns and make homemade gifts.
