my childhood home.

Take the River Road #2 out of Emo and drive for about 5 minutes.  Take a left on George Road.

The big tree in front of the house, we call it Auntie Carolyn.  When people in our family pass away, we plant a tree in their memory.  Every Christmas, Auntie Carolyn is lit up with beautiful Christmas lights and makes the snow glow.

The property was from my Mom’s side of the family.  It was where her mom grew up as a little girl.  Where my mom used to visit her Grandma George.

The house was built by my parents and Grandpa Johnson.  Four bedrooms.  One bathroom.  Basement.

Random little pieces that will make their way into the family book for the kids.
